This renovation project that I will be presenting for the coming weeks is a very special one. Mr and Mrs Tan (the homeowners) decided to engage the service of Ben Ng (the Interior Designer for this project) after reading about him from my blog. I want to thank Mr and Mrs Tan as well as Ben for sharing with the readers their renovation experiences.
This is a resale HDB flat. In fact, the owners have been living in the house for a period of time before deciding to renovate it. This is a very unique and challenging project for Ben and the homeowners because it is a partial renovation with many major works. The logistic works involved can be a serious headache. However, it is the difficulty of the project (with many extra works) that differentiates Ben from many other Interior Designers in Singapore.
The following pictures show the current condition of the house.
