After more than 2 months of following the whole project, the renovation of this 4 Room HDB in Punggol is finally completed.
I would like to mention that none of the photos are edited (photoshop) except for some cropping and adjustment of exposure. I choose not to edit the photos because I want to show all the readers the realistic side of renovation. 99% of all photos shown to you by Interior Designers are photoshop edited. Especially for HDB, there are somethings which cannot be perfect because of HDB renovation requirements. For example, air con piping and electrical wiring cannot be concealed like condo (meaning cannot hack the wall, place the wires or pipes and seal with cement or plaster). Many parts of the pipes and wires will be exposed.
I would like to thank the homeowners (Mr, Mrs and Miss K) as well as Interior Designer Ben Ng for all the information provided.
I have included the 3D perspective drawings provided by the Interior Designer to compare with the end result of the renovation.

My Reviews
- Ben actually did a major painting works, followed by major touch up after most of the renovation works are completed and a last touch up after all the furnitures are moved in. I don’t think you can get 3 times of painting if you employ your own painters!
- The home owners told me that they are very happy with the delivery. On time delivery is very important to them because they need to move out of their previous house. In addition, they did not face any problem during the whole renovation.
- 3D perspective drawing is 95% close to finished products. This means that you are getting what you expected right from the start! You really do not want to get any shock from a 5 digit renovation works.
- Good price: I am not given the price but the home owners told me the renovation contract is about $40K including Mitsubishi Inverter system 4 aircon. See previous post for the detailed quotation. I leave the rest for you to think about.
